The last cycle of Orientation for this year will begin on October 17th at 8:15 in the Fellowship Hall.

Men, don’t forget to reserve your space for the Men’s Retreat. Forms are in the lobby. And also, any men who are members and would like to play on the basketball team can register in the lobby. The cost is $40.
Our Fall Leadership Academy will be held Friday, Oct. 22nd from 6:30-9:30 and Sat., Oct. 23rd from 9:00-12:00. The Academy is open to members who have a desire to serve in leadership and meet the requirements. Leadership consists of elders, deacons, stewards and ministry leaders. Attending the class does not mean that an individual will be appointed to an office.
Parents are asked to begin to bring individually wrapped candy by Oct. 27th for our Hallelujah Night Celebration. This year we will celebrate Hallelujah Night in conjunction with our Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 30th from 3-7 p.m.
Next Sunday at 2:00, Dinner Theatre comes to Calvary. Come have dinner and see the play, “An Angel in His Care. Spaces are limited so sign up in the lobby today.

Our Youth Choir practices every Saturday at 10:00. They sing on the 3rd Sundays and on the 4th Sundays with the Sanctuary Choir.
Youth Dance practice is each Saturday from 11:30 -1:00. Any middle or high school having a passion for God and dance is invited to attend. Please contact LaToya Marcus for more information.
Our September service project will focus on those serving our country in the military. If you have immediate family members currently serving, please provide the church office with their names and complete mailing addresses. We will be prepare and send them care packages. Here’s how you can help. We are now collecting shoeboxes and donations of any of the items listed below to include in these shoebox care packages. We ask that when you donate items either purchase trial size or regular size – no king size or super size items. Items needed are: toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, shaving cream, aftershave, soap, hand sanitizer, flavored beef jerky, lotion, baby powder, foot powder, and other perishable goods.
