New Children and Youth Leader Orientation will take place on Sunday, January 8th at 8:00 a.m. This meeting is for new Children and Youth Leaders as well as those who want additional training for teaching our children and youth.

The first cycle of Orientation for 2012 began today. You can complete this cycle by attending the remaining 5 classes. The class meets at 8:15 in C105 which is located through the hallway to the left nearest the stage.

If you would like to purchase a cookbook, the cost is $12 and the proceeds will help support youth missions. Please see a steward in the Welcome Center.

On Friday, January 6th, our children will learn how to spend, save and share the way Christ intended! They will also get to meet our community firemen and policeman. The time is from 6:30 to 8:30. We don’t want a child to be left out of this fun filled event as we kickoff 2012 in the Children’s Ministry! The cost is $5 per child. Food will be served! Signup in the Welcome Center today to ensure your child’s spot on the guest list! Don’t miss it!

If you’re seeking a closer walk with God in 2012, join other women who have a hunger and thirst for more of Him. They will meet in the Small Auditorium.

Our Church Dedication will be March 18, 21 and 25. If you would like to help plan this event, please sign up via the bulletin.

Mandatory rehearsals for our Christmas play will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 7:00 and Saturday, December 17th at 10:00. On Sunday, the 18th all play participants should arrive at 7:30 a.m. Please see Wanda Ramseur or Jorel Robinson if you have questions.

The CARE Ministry is now accepting applications for the Angel Tree and Christmas baskets. If you are in need, or know of someone that would need help with Christmas gifts/food basket, please fill out an application. Please return your unwrapped Angel Tree gifts, along with the identifying cards to the Church office no later than Friday, December 16th. Please accept the Angel ornament as a Thank You from Calvary for giving to those children that might otherwise not receive gifts this Christmas. Also, the CARE Ministry is accepting donations of can goods and other non-perishable items for the Christmas baskets. Donations can be placed in the collection box located in the Welcome Center.
